Why UEFI?
UEFI is the next generation BIOS, no more boring legacy BIOS text screens, but a Graphical User Interface with mouse support and applications. MSI showed you what UEFI is capable of when we premiered ClickBIOS on our P35 EFINITY in February 2008 and P45 series mainboards in July 2008 and now we want to bring you the best experience with our next generation mainboards.
The BIOS you use nowadays was developed in the 1970's and has hardly evolved since then. UEFI is essential for flexible and faster boot times and better compatibility. With UEFI it becomes possible to boot over your wireless network and is essential if you want to support hard disks over 3 Terabyte.
